I am very excited to announce the formation of a Carolinas regional organization as part of Humanity’s Team (www.humanitysteam.org)!
Humanity’s Team began in 2003 “as a vision of a world free of oppressive beliefs about God, life and each other so that we can truly experience unity and oneness.” It became a nonprofit organization in 2004, and has since evolved into an active, coordinated movement, with uniform and unifying programs worldwide that allow for community and cultural differences.
Humanity’s Team has a global coordinating group whose members, all volunteers, are located throughout the world, with the headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. The movement now has over 35,000 members from 90 countries on six continents.
2010 was a year of major achievement for Humanity’s Team. The movement delivered a petition to the United Nations, with thousands of signatures from all over the world, for the declaration of a Global Oneness Day. October 24th was designated as Global Oneness Day, and ceremonies and celebrations took place on that day in every region of the Earth. The second annual Global Oneness Day will be celebrated on October 24th of this year.
We have a core group organizing Humanity’s Team Carolinas, and I am honored to have been chosen as the Coordinator for the team. We are having an organization meeting on Sunday, January 30th at Unity of Charlotte (www.unityofcharlotte.org). If you would like to be part of our movement, please check out the Humanity’s Team web site, contact me, or come to the meeting on January 30th.
